Kitset Shed Assembly

Please note you will need a minimum of three people for lifting the frames.

Setup your foundations

Setup your 3600x2400mm foundation for placing the floor,

Place the floor and tie down

You will need to tie down the floor using appropriate fixings, ensure it is level and square.

Back wall

Stand up the back wall, ensure there is 90mm space for each side. Fix one side with a temporary brace and ensure its vertically level. Using the 120 mm screws provided tie the back wall to the floor plate, One per bay for a total of 6.

Side walls

Stand up the first side wall and tie to the back wall using the 100mm screws, one for each bay. Repeat with the other side, ensuring any temporary bracing is removed first. Using the 120mm screws provided tie the side walls to the floor plate. 1 per bay for a total of 4.

Front wall

Stand up the front wall, tie each of the side walls to the front using the provided 100mm screws provided, 1 per bay. Tie the front wall to the floor plate using the provided 120mm screws, one for each of the 2 bays on each side, be sure to leave the middle bay which will be removed to make way for the door..

Roof

Slide the roof over the front wall or rear wall depending on which has access, you will probably need a couple of step ladders or something stable to stand on to lift the roof over.. Once slotted in place tie the roof to the walls from the inside using the provided 100mm screws, 1 per bay all the way around for a total of 18.

Door

Cut our the 100x50 in the doorway using a hand saw. While one person holds the door in place the other can screw in place using the 50mm screws provided. Hint. Screw a single screw in each first to ensure the door is swinging freely. Attach padbolt and cabin hook using provided screws.

Roofing

Lay out 2 sheets of iron, then the clearlite, then the final two sheets of iron, flip the last piece around so it matches the first sheet edge, there should be roughly 100mm overhand at the front and between 30-40mm evenly either side, the back should be enough for a gutter if you decide you want one in the future.  Enough roofing screws have been provided for 5 rows of 11, approx 15 per sheet, taking account of overlaps.
